Onmyoji is a free-to-play role-playing game developed by NetEase Games. It is a fantasy adventure that is inspired by Japanese folklore and legends for its story. In it, players draw on their natural gifts for the supernatural and summon beasts and companions to their side as they battle demons.

In Onmyoji, you play as Abe no Seimei, a legendary onmyoji from Japanese folklore. Having no recollection of the past, you will go on a journey to recover your memories in a world where humans and demons have a precarious co-existence. Journey through the land and encounter all kinds of spirits and deadly demons in a grand and perilous fantasy adventure.
To help you with impending battles and encounters with hostile demons, the game has around a hundred shikigami companions to call forth to aid in battle. Each has its own unique abilities that you can further strengthen through evolution. Utilize the tactical turn-based combat to your advantage by coming up with an ideal team combination to take on all kinds of enemies and situations.
The game also features a social element that lets you create virtual realms wherein you can interact with other players online. Work together to take down tough demons or challenge each other's skill in a friendly duel. Unfortunately, the experience is spoiled by multiple bugs and crashes. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed and addressed in an update as soon as possible.
